Wow! The pizza was delicious. It was a slow day, but the service was top-notch and friendly. The quality of everything was excellent. We'll definitely be coming back whenever we're in this part of the world!

My fiancé and I absolutely love this place! So when we were thinking of a place to have our daughters baptism lunch, we reached out and Sophia, their Executive Assistant, was such a delight to work with. Sophia immediately helped us book the party of over 20+ guests, she helped us setup a pre-order menu and made great suggestions for options that our entire party would enjoy. The day of the lunch everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, I am very appreciative and would recommend Rustico for anyone looking for something sweet and intimate.

Hinging between a 3 and 4,so going with a 4 since I thinkost of the drawbacks were temporary issues. First of which they booked two parties of 20 on a Friday night, and for context, they probably have a capacity of 60. Space was tight, service slow, and everyone seemed a bit stressed out. Cute interior, but bad acoustics. The menu on the website wasn't exactly like the menu in the restaurant. I was looking forward to trying a veal and spinach shell pasta, but it looked like it got replaced by an osso buco ravioli which piqued our interested. Our server assured us it was very good, but then said they hadn't actually had it, and said they thought it was "baby cow", which was certainly one of the interactions of all time. We ended up getting the breadsticks, Ceasar with anchovies, and the Luciano pizza. You get a truck load of fresh and hot breadsticks that have an oil/garlic/parmasean mixture on top. I thought they were good but not great and the mixture was surprisingly bland. The salad was good, but the anchovies are like the typical black canned ones you get at a pizza parlor, heavy on the brine, and not the white ones you'd expect on a Ceasar. That tracks since they really are a pizza place and it isn't like Ceasar is an Italian staple like some assume. The Luciano pizza was absolutely fantastic and the calabrian chiles were actually spicy and not "restaurant spicy". We immediately said we'd be coming back for that alone. Overall, I think we hit them on a bad night, but we could tell the potential is there and will likely try them again for take out. We still want to try the pastas which we saw generous servings of going around.

The food here was amazing. The best thing we had was the cibo star pizza which was the best pizza I've ever had. The team wasn't sure if they had space for us but found a way to seat our large party and the management checked on us throughout the night, even giving special attention to our kids with a treat at the end. You've got to try this place!

Went for Sonoma County Restaurant Week Dinner Food - 5/5. Caprese was fresh and I liked the addition of the arugula for its peppery finish. Big chunks of salt gave it a sharp taste and the balsamic added a sour flavor with a hint of sweetness. Caesar salad was loaded with aged parmesan, adding a huge level of umami to contrast the light, crunchy romaine. Cibo star was very rich, being loaded with different meats and plenty of cheese. The dough had a good chew on them and the star shaped stuffed crust was fun to eat, reminding me of a cheese calzone. The rich flavor did get overwhelming, but having a marinara sauce as a dip helped balance it out. Rack of lamb had a delicious marinade that gave it a distinct flavor of balsamic. It was a little overcooked, being on the medium well side of doneness, but the marinade kept the lamb tender. Asparagus had a nice bite and the aged parmesan added a savory flavor. Zeppole were fantastic! Each piece was fried well having a crispy and chewy texture. The sauces were decadent and sweet with the chocolate being my favorite. Sweetness level was just right to pair with the fried items. Service - 5/5. Service was friendly and professional to the end. We came closer to closing time and our dessert came out after close. Out of respect for their time, we took it to go after a few bites but we never felt rushed from the staff. Value - 5/5. The restaurant week special was three courses for $35. The options showcased their menu items but also included things that aren't on their regular menu such as the lamb. Although delicious, I felt that only two pieces of lamb was a little small for portions. The sweet perk was fantastic offering a huge plate of zeppole for only $5. Their pizzas are all in the mid $20s range which was fair considering the amount of toppings, cheese and size of the pizza. Absolutely fantastic restaurant week location! Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

Sep 2023 3.5 I'd say. Came in for a date night. The decor has changed a lot and an addition of outdoor seating as well. Noise can be a little rough depending on where you're at inside. Service was friendly, and helpful with any questions. It was pretty busy as the night went on, and check ins and water refills infrequent. We had gotten the roasted seasonal veggies and breadsticks to share along with a bottle of the Colagrossi vino rosso. My partner ordered the veal canneloni and I got the affinare truffle veggie pizza. My partner liked the canneloni. It was cooked well and the cheese was gooey throughout. The red sauce added a nice richness to it that wasn't too tart. The crust for the pizza had good bite and was nice and chewy though a bit plain. The parmesan sauce worked well bringing things together. The roasted veggies were not my cup of tea though. They tasted plain and definitely needed seasoning. And desserts of course with chocolate mousse and the nonna zepole. The mousse was simple and good. I like the hazelnut in the mix. The nonna zepole was warm and tasty though I wanted something to dip it in or like a fruit compote to compliment. Still pretty good overall for what we had.
